    healthy and free from blockages.

Our assessments are detailed, and we work with you to determine the best solutions to improve your hearing and overall quality of life. Hearing assessments include:

  • Exploring your hearing history and concerns
  • Physical ear inspections
  • Wax removal
  • Diagnostic check of eardrum
  • Extensive hearing test
  • Recommendations customized to your hearing loss, preference, and budget

Hearing Tests

Our hearing tests include a series of procedures to assess various aspects of your hearing:

  • Tympanometry (checks movement of ear drum and middle ear)
  • Pure Tone Audiometry (the softest sound you can hear)
  • Bone Conduction Test (tests the inner ear)
  • Speech Audiometry (tests for speech clarity)
  • Speech in Noise (tests signal to noise ratio of speech understanding)
  • A full evaluation and discussion of your hearing test results

What if I Need Hearing Aids?

If you need a hearing aid we will present all of your different options in a Hearing Aid Evaluation appointment, usually right after your hearing test results have been explained to you.

Understanding the type of hearing aid you need begins with that hearing test. It tells us exactly what each patient needs a hearing aid to do. Once we know what you need (how much amplification, how much noise suppression, what kind of features you need to succeed), we can make a device  recommendation that suits your needs, your lifestyle, and your budget.

Selecting the hearing aid itself is only part of the process. Your device will be carefully fitted for maximum comfort and performance, and fine tuned to provide exactly the sound you need based on your hearing loss.
